Nice Weather, Georgtown

Beautiful weather in Myrtle Beach..Saturday was a travel day only 1/2 hr drive.. started out with a little drizzle but turned out to be a beautiful day. Made it to Briarcliff Rv resort about 11:00 set up. While we were waiting for Diane and Larry for Diane and Larrry to get here decided to go and fill our water Jugs. By the time we got back they were set up. Sat and chatted for a bit and went to Wild Wings Cafe for dinner. We are right next to Barefoot Landing which is shops and Restaurants. Diane and I had wings for dinner and bill and Larry had a bacon cheeseburger. We have been here before so we knew it was good. Went to the liquor store looking for Kim's Coconut rum drinks and found a nice variety.
Bought strawberry for Kim and some more Pineapple for me. Back to the camper to relax. Really good wifi here so turned on the fire stick and caught up on some shows.
Clock change... so I slept in til 6.
We decide to go to breakfast after Larry and Diane got back from Church. Dino's was recommended by a guy at the last campground so thats where we went. It was delish.. Glad we went.
Weather is suppose to be greta so we decided to take the hr long drive to Georgetown..why not have all the time in the world.

Love Georgetown...but very dissapointed that most of the stores were closed on Sundays. WHO KNEW.   There were tons of people there too. The restaurants were all open but we just had breakfast so we just walked on the boardwalk for a bit.


By the time we got back it was time for dinner. Decided to try out the rotisseri on the Air fryer. Got it figured out after a bit and cooked the Rst Beef.
Only took 25 minutes. Man did it look good. 
It was perfect. We for got to put the spices on before we cooked it so next time now that we know what we are doing it should be even better. It was yummy. Made some biscuits, they only take 5 minutes. What a good dinner.
Larry and Diane came over after dinner and we planned our trip home. YAY!!!!!!. Playe dMexican train til about 11. Past my bed time. Tomorrow's another day.

Last Blog 😢

Our trip has finally come to an end. Tuesday is travel day to home. Saturday was the last Day with Diane and Larry. Went into Gettysburg to have a look around.Nice sunny day but a little chilly. Diane and I checked out he little shops of course. After a bit the guys went to sit at the bar while we shopped.  Abe Lincoln is everywhere. Great little town with tons of history if your into that. Had a late lunch at he bar with the guys. Not really hungry but I had a Ceasar Salad anyway. Ruebans for the guys and a greek salad for Diane. WEnt back to the camper to relax for a bit and then our last fire.(sorry forgot to take a picture) Wow a night without Mexican Train. Went in about 9. They have things to do to get ready for the long ride home in the morning. I was in bed by 10. Sunday was just a relaxing day. Diane and Larry left about 7:45 proming to text when they got home. Rainy Morning Oulet Mall

Well Friday started out rainy but turned into a nice afternoon. After breakfast we went to the campground store. This is another really nice campground. We enjoy it here every year. Really nice clubhouse. Three different sitting rooms with Tvs. Lot of books to trade and read. Play areas and a craft area for the kids. Pool is huge. Not open yet but we enjoyed it when Billy Anna and the kid were with us a couple of years ago. Diane and I decide it was a good day to leave the hubbies behind and go shopping. We've been wanting to do this for a while. Had a great time. Spent some money. LOL All on the grandkids of course and nothing for ourselves. Had lunch at subway. All in all it was a good shopping day. Back to the camper to rest for a bit and have dinner. Decided against a fire again tonight so played some Mexican Train. Diane can't get enough of it and they're leaving on Sunday so this might be the last game for awhile. I won one game and Larry won the ot
